~ Award Winning Professional Photographers With Over 20 Years Experience ~
My excitement of photography has turned into a journey of self-directed learning. The education I have gained in photography has been developed mainly from hands on experiential learning. Working with professional and amateur photographers as well as artists I have developed skill, knowledge and confidence within this medium of visual expression. Seeking knowledge through a variety of networking, continually attending educational workshops and seminars inspires me to continue to explore new directions. I have exhibited in Toronto, Belleville, Picton, Napanee, Trenton, Bancroft and surrounding area. I have served as the President of photography clubs as well as holding most other positions on the executive for the past 20 years. I receive commissions, for weddings, portraits, boudoir, pets, family and children, fine art prints and art deco, commercial shoots and special occasions. I am pleased to have had the honour of winning numerous awards.
I am constantly learning about art and photography and continue to challenge myself to think outside of the box. Thus, my unique taste for colourful abstract compositions and creating surreal images that evoke diverse emotions. Colours that calm, colours that excite, shapes, textures, light, subtle nuances, the seduction, the desire, the inner drive, determination and enthusiasm inspire me to create images expressing my passion for the art of photography.
Recently I have been on adventures with the County Photographer expanding my photography to include more landscapes exploring and discovering our region while having fun and enjoying photo chats with a fantastic group of people.
